What’s your “happy” movie?

Question by Layla B: What’s your “happy” movie?
You know what I’m talking about- the movie you always have to watch when you’re having a terrible day.

My favourite movie to cheer me up will always be Almost Famous.
I saw it for the first time when I was 13, and it inspired me to be a music journalist (which is what I am going to school 400 miles away for in September). My VHS copy broke a few years ago, and I came home from work a couple days ago to find a DVD of it on my bed, with a note from my mom saying: “Just incase you get a little lonely next year, and forget what you’re there for.”
That movie is like instant healing for me.

What’s your happy movie? Do you have one like mine, that has inspired you, or do you have one that just simply makes you laugh on a crappy day?

Must Love Dogs, because I relate a lot to the two main characters when they are sad and lonely :/
but they end up happy
and it gives me hope

    Gosh there are so many.
Love actually is hilarious and amazing. Bring it On is a stupid movie which i can watch over and over again and get lost in their trivial problems. A TV show i love? Veronica Mars. If you haven’t watched it, I suggest you go out and buy seasons 1, 2 and 3. It’s very addictive!

I don’t really have a “happy” movie that I watch when I’m feeling down. The first time I saw Fight Club I had a grin on my face the whole time, though.

My favourite movie of all time, that I know all the words too, that I have the VHS and 2 DVDs of is BILLY ELLIOT :) :) :)

I first watched it when I was 12 or 13, and I completely fell in love with it. If i am ever upset or bored, i watch it. I love it so much! You should really really really watch it.

Beetlejuice. Takes me to a happy place every time.

Plus, by the time “Shake, Sonora” plays at the end, you’re dancing right along with them, all your worries gone away!
